Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 April 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using the AIDE platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, do not use the platform. These Terms of Service form a legally binding agreement between you and AIDE, a software platform operated from the United Kingdom.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use AIDE.
2. The Service
AIDE is a career automation platform for independent music artists. A subscription to AIDE provides access to the following automated services:
- Live show opportunity matching — venue, promoter, and event platform prospecting
- Sync licensing submission to open-submission libraries
- Catalogue licensing submission to AI and media licensing platforms
- Release strategy intelligence reports based on genre and platform trend data
- Spotify ad targeting parameter generation per release
- Spotify editorial pitch generation and submission via your linked Spotify for Artists account
- YouTube SEO optimisation via your linked YouTube account
- SubmitHub curator automation via your linked SubmitHub account
- TikTok Sounds distribution via your linked TikTok account
The specific features available may change over time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes to the platform.
3. Subscriptions and payment
AIDE is a subscription service billed at £79 per month. Payment is processed by Paddle, who act as Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Your subscription begins on the date of your first successful payment and renews automatically each month unless cancelled. You will receive an email receipt from Paddle for each payment.
All prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT where required. Paddle handles all VAT and tax obligations globally as Merchant of Record.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within your AIDE account dashboard under Account → Subscription, or by contacting us at support@aide.software.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to AIDE until that date. We do not provide partial-month refunds on cancellation, except as required by applicable law or as set out in our Refund Policy.
There are no cancellation fees and no minimum commitment period.
5. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@aide.software.
Each subscription is for a single artist or project. You may not share your account with others or use AIDE to manage accounts on behalf of third parties without our written permission.
6. Connected third-party accounts
Certain AIDE features require you to connect third-party accounts (Spotify for Artists, YouTube, TikTok, SubmitHub). By connecting these accounts, you authorise AIDE to take actions on your behalf within the scope of the permissions you grant. You may disconnect these accounts at any time.
You remain responsible for ensuring your use of third-party platforms complies with their respective terms of service. AIDE is not affiliated with Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, or SubmitHub, and is not responsible for their platform policies or availability.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use AIDE to:
- Submit music you do not own or have the rights to
- Engage in any activity that violates the terms of any connected platform
- Attempt to circumvent, hack, or disrupt AIDE or its infrastructure
- Use AIDE for any unlawful purpose
- Resell or sublicense access to AIDE
- Impersonate any person or entity
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund.
8. Intellectual property
You retain full ownership of all music, recordings, and creative content you submit through AIDE. By using AIDE, you grant AIDE a limited, non-exclusive licence to use your content solely to operate the automations you have subscribed to (for example, submitting your music to sync libraries or pitching to Spotify editorial).
The AIDE platform, including its software, design, and content, is owned by us and protected by UK and international intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of AIDE without our written permission.
9. Results and outcomes
AIDE automates submissions, pitches, and distributions on your behalf. We make no guarantee of specific outcomes, including but not limited to playlist placements, sync licensing deals, live show bookings, streaming growth, or revenue. Results depend on factors outside our control including the quality of your music, market conditions, and the decisions of third-party platforms and companies.
AIDE is a tool that maximises your reach and automates your career operations — it does not guarantee commercial success.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIDE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use AIDE.
Our total aggregate liability to you in respect of any claims arising under or in connection with these Terms of Service shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.
11. Service availability
We aim to provide continuous access to AIDE but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that results in temporary unavailability. In the event of extended downtime attributable to us (exceeding 72 consecutive hours), you may be eligible for a pro-rata service credit. Contact support@aide.software in such cases.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days’ notice of material changes by email before they take effect. Continued use of AIDE after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Service. If you do not agree to the updated Terms of Service, you must cancel your subscription before the effective date.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We encourage you to contact us at support@aide.software before initiating any formal proceedings — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
