Refund Policy
Last updated: 1 April 2026
We want you to feel confident subscribing to AIDE. This policy sets out when you are eligible for a refund and how to request one.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with AIDE, you may request a full refund of your first month’s subscription fee within 14 days of your initial payment. No questions asked.
To claim your refund, email support@aide.software from the email address associated with your account within the 14-day window. We will process your refund within 5 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paddle.
This guarantee applies to your first subscription period only and cannot be applied to subsequent renewal payments.
2. Subscription renewals
Monthly subscription renewal payments (after the initial 14-day guarantee period) are non-refundable. When you cancel your subscription, you retain access to AIDE until the end of your current billing period — you are not charged again after cancellation.
We recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before your renewal date to ensure no further charge is made. Renewal charges that occur within 24 hours of a cancellation request may be refunded at our discretion.
3. Exceptions — when we will issue a refund
Outside of the 14-day guarantee, we will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:
Extended service unavailability
If AIDE is completely unavailable due to a fault on our side for more than 72 consecutive hours, you may be eligible for a pro-rata credit or refund for the affected period. Contact us at support@aide.software with details.
Duplicate charges
If you have been charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full. Contact us with your Paddle transaction reference.
Unauthorised charges
If you believe a charge was made without your authorisation, contact us immediately at support@aide.software. We will investigate and, where confirmed, process a full refund.
UK consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. These rights are not affected by this policy. In particular, you have a 14-day right to cancel a digital service contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. By actively using AIDE during this period, you acknowledge that you consent to the service commencing before the 14-day cancellation window expires, and accept that a refund may be subject to a deduction for services already delivered — unless you opt for our 14-day money-back guarantee under Section 1 above, which we offer voluntarily with no deductions.
4. How to cancel your subscription
You can cancel at any time from within your AIDE dashboard under Account → Subscription. Alternatively, email support@aide.software and we will cancel on your behalf.
Cancellation stops future billing. It does not retroactively refund previous charges unless you are within the 14-day guarantee period or another exception applies.
5. Payment processing
All payments are processed by Paddle, who act as Merchant of Record. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card provider. AIDE does not have access to your card details — all payment handling is managed by Paddle.
